Disabled Access

We pride ourselves on being a disabled friendly service. There is easy access for disabled patients to the buildings with free and ample parking facilities around the surgery.

Disabled patients are welcome to telephone the surgery upon arrival and ask for assistance into the building if they require help and our staff will be happy to assist. Partially sighted patients may request a large print copy of our patient information leaflet from reception.

We operate an induction loop system that is advertised in the reception area, so patients suffering from a hearing disability may request use of the system. 

We are happy to encourage all disabled patients the option of providing feedback on the service and facilities offered. 

 

Accessible Information Standard (AIS)

The Accessible Information Standard aims to make sure that disabled people have access to information that they can understand and any communication support they might need.

Should you have any requirements or know of a patient who needs support please let the Practice know and we will help provide support whether that is by providing information in large print or putting a patient in touch with British Sign Language (BSL), an interpreter, email or braille.
